GenCorporate partnered with Samsung to organize an exclusive networking session on the 8th of September 2020 where students from different universities have the opportunity to visit Samsung’s headquarters in Malaysia. This event had attracted not only students from the UK, but also several others from local universities. 

 

The event began with a sharing session with Mr Chen Fong Tuan, the HR director at Samsung Malaysia Electronics (SME). He shared his experience working in SME and the challenges and competitiveness of the company recruitment process. After that, it was a more layback ice-breaking session where students were split into 4 groups, followed by a quiz session to start off the event. Samsung allowed participants to gain further insights on future possible technologies such as holographic technology and opened up room for more imagination for artificial intelligence in Malaysia.
